Abaco Systems today announced the PowerXtreme PPC11A 6U VME rugged single board computer uniquely for a new VME single board computer based on the latest Power Architecture processors, available in two versions.
The high performance based on the NXP (formerly Freescale™) QorIQ™ T2081 processor for 2x improvement in performance compared with the predecessor board or low power consumption one based on the NXP QoriQ T1042 processor, consuming less than 7.5W of power that enables the PPC11A to consume better than half the power of the PPC10A.
The PPC11A features an extensive and flexible range of I/O options, including Gigabit Ethernet, serial COM ports, USB 2.0, SATA and GPIO, the PPC11A is ideal for a wide range of mil/aero applications and it is form-, fit- and function compatible with its predecessors (PowerXtreme PPC4A, PPC7A, PPC9A and PPC10A).
Designed specifically for harsh environments and available in five ruggedization levels for optimum price/performance.
PPC11A initial software support includes comprehensive Deployed Test Software (BIT and BCS), VxWorks® , VxWorks653, and Yocto Linux® , with further operating system support planned.

Adlink Technology announces AmITX-BT-I a Mini-ITX motherboard supporting the Intel® Atom™ processor E3800 Series and Intel® Celeron® processor system-on-chip (SoC). The AmITX-BT-I is specifically designed for customers who need high-level processing and graphics performance with low power consumption in a long product life solution.
The Intel® Atom™ processor E3800 and Intel® Celeron® processor support non-ECC type DDR3L dual-channel memory at 1066/1333 MHz to provide excellent overall performance. Integrated Intel® Gen7 HD Graphics includes features such as OpenGL 3.1, DirectX 11, OpenCL 1.1 and support for H.264, MPEG2, VC1, VP8 hardware decode. Graphics outputs include VGA, DDI ports supporting HDMI and dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS. The AmITX-BT-I has dual stacked SODIMM sockets for up to 8 GB non-ECC type DDR3L memory.
The AmITX-BT-I features dual Gigabit Ethernet port, USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 ports, and SATA 3 Gb/s ports. Support is provided for SMBus and I2C. The module is equipped with SPI AMI EFI BIOS, supporting embedded features such as hardware monitor and watchdog timer.

Oring Networking announces IGPS-9042GP-24V, a managed redundant PoE Ethernet switch with 4×10/100/1000Base-T(X) IEEE 802.3at P.S.E. ports and 2×100/1000Base-X SFP ports. The switch supports Ethernet Redundancy protocol, O-Ring (recovery time < 30ms over 250 units of connection) and MSTP (RSTP/STP compatible) can protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its fast recovery technology. IGPS-9042GP-24V also support Power over Ethernet, a system to transmit electrical power up to 30 watts, along with data, to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network. Each IGPS-9042GP-24V switch has 4x10/100/1000Base-T(X) P.S.E. (Power Sourcing Equipment) ports and support wide operating temperature from -40°C to 75°C. IGPS-9042GP-24V can also be managed centralized and convenient by Oring’s proprietary Open-Vision platform as well as via Web-based interfaces, Telnet and console (CLI).
