NAI’s introduces SIU35, a highly configurable rugged COTS system ideally suited for military, industrial, and commercial applications that require high-density I/O, communication, Ethernet switching, and processing. The SIU35 offers a choice of 3U cPCI processors among PowerPC™, Intel®and ARM® enabling customers to choose their ideal SBC. Software support includes Wind River® Linux and VxWorks®, Xilinx® PetaLinux, and Windows ® Embedded Standard 7 and all I/O and communication libraries are available. NAI’s Custom-On-Standard-Architecture™ (COSA™) offers a choice of over 40 intelligent I/O, communications, and Ethernet switch functions, as well as Single Board Computer (SBC) options. Preexisting, fully tested functions can quickly and easily be combined in an unlimited number of ways. The SIU35 has been qualification tested for a wide variety of Environmental and EMI/EMC conditions in accordance with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461.

Abaco Systems announced the rugged R15-MPCIE MIL-STD-1553 Mini PCI Express® card and RAR-MPCIE ARINC 429 Mini PCI Express card . Both units are also very small (30mm x 50.95 mm x 4.7mm) and lightweight for applications deployed in highly-constrained platforms where SWaP (size, weight and power) need to be minimized. The R15-MPCIE supports two fully-capable dual redundant channels, giving it greater functional density than competing products and the RAR-MPCIE features eight receive and four transmit channels. It can be configured to include one receive and one transmit ARINC 717 channel. Both cards offer discretes. The R15-MPCIE and RAR-MPCIE include IRIG-B signal receiver/generator with GPS synchronization and 100% monitoring of fully loaded buses as standard features. A PCIe carrier card with the ability to host four Mini PCI Express modules is also available to aid customers in development. Support is provided for Windows® 7, 8, 8.1, 10, XP, Vista (32- and 64-bit), Server 2012 R1/R2, VxWorks®, Linux® and other operating systems.

The side panels are easily removable are fitted with locks from the inside of the cabinet (security). The door options available are equipped with swing handle and key lock at three points locking, reversible opening and 180 degree opening. Front door is provided with a temperature display, sensor and 3 meter cable. The top cover is provided with 6 cable entry areas (3 for each side) and 1 at the rear. The top frame, in the structure, allows the mount an optional ventilation fan tray “zero U” of 4 or 6 fans without interfering with the entry areas of cables.
