VPX3020: SBC on OpenVPX with Intel Xeon-E CPU and XMC slot

Adlink Technology Inc. introduces VPX3020, the new 3U openVPX Rugged Single Board Computer with 4-core Intel Xeon E-2254ML SoC. VPX3020 rugged single board can be equipped with up to 16GB of SDRAM memory in dual channel configuration and integrates 3x Gigabit Ethernet optionally selectable between copper or fiber connectivity, 1x SATA 6Gb/s, 2x COM, 1x USB 3.0 and 1x GPIO. In addition, VPX3020 features 8x PCIe Gen3 lanes on PCIe x8 or PCIe x4 links, ideal for high-performance GPGPU connections and integrates a socket for XMC modules. VPX3020 single board is available in conduction cooled versions to suit multiple applications and offers -40°C /+ 85°C operation.

Interface Concept introduces IC-SR-BOXa, the new 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2/3 switch 19″ rackmount. IC-SR-BOXa offers up to 32 Ethernet ports and the standard configuration features 16 1000BASE-T ports and 8 SFP+ ports while additional 8 SFP+ ports are optionally available. IC-SR-BOXa is equipped with a highly integrated, state-of-the-art Marvell system-on-chip (SoC) and the standard version integrates a 110/240 VAC 50/60Hz power supply while an 18-36 VDC power supply is available as an option. The switch is cooled by internal PWM-type fans that can adapt the rotation speed according to the heat to be extracted from the chassis. Device control operations are also simplified by the ‘Switchware’ suite, a proprietary application that offers support and compatibility with a large number of Ethernet protocols via a simple, user-friendly and intuitive interface. The IC-SR-BOXa is dedicated to industrial and military networking applications and is available in Extended and Rugged versions.

Supermicro Computers Inc. introduces SYS-221BT-DNTR, the new dual node server with high density, performance and maintainability derived from Intel’s latest generation CPU architecture and hot-swappable tool-less design. SYS-221BT-DNTR offers two fourth-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with Sapphire Rapids architecture per node, each with up to 60 cores and support for next-generation integrated accelerators and GPUs. In addition, the capability to handle a range of open industry standards, including OCP 3.0-compliant Advanced IO Modules (AIOM), EDSFF storage, OCP Open Accelerator Module (OAM) and SXM GPU interconnect, reduces dependence on proprietary technologies. This allows users to standardize components across the data center and incorporate Supermicro systems into existing infrastructure with minimal changes. With open standards-based server management, Supermicro servers can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT environments. SYS-221BT-DNTR offer CXL 1.1 support to create a unified and consistent memory space between CPUs and accelerators, DDR5-4800 MT/s memories with up to 1.5 times the performance and capacity of the DDR4 standard, PCIe 5.0 for twice the I/O bandwidth of the previous generation, and 12 NVMe U.2-type SSD bays per node designed to provide unprecedented speed, capacity and density for hot and warm-tier storage applications. Regarding networking, support for multiple 400 Gbps InfiniBand (NDR) and data processing units (DPUs) enables distributed stacking, disaggregated storage and real-time collaboration with extremely low latencies. SYS-221BT-DNTR also offers titanium-class, redundant power that is shared among nodes, offering high energy optimization while maintaining a very high standard of security.

OM-215 is ideal for industrial or infotainment applications and comes in the size of 21.5″ in 16:9 format, offering excellent brightness while remaining ultra-thin in the aluminum frame with IP65 front protection. OM-215 offers ten-point capacitive multitouch touchscreen with USB connectivity and 0°C /+60°C operating temperature. Input connectors are located on the back and include VGA and HDMI. The keypad for display control is housed on the back minimizing the bulk on the front panel. OM-215 display features 12Vdc power input via terminal block or DC jack with lock.
