IPN254: OpenVPX/SOSA Single Board Computer with NVIDIA Turing GPU and Intel Xeon-E CPU

Abaco Systems introduces IPN254, the 4th generation 6U OpenVPX/SOSA-aligned multiprocessor SBC from Abaco. IPN254 combines the latest NVIDIA Turing RTX 3000 GPU, a Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ FPGA and the 9th generation Intel Xeon-E 2276ME CPU with Coffee Lake Refresh architecture, yielding maximum processing performance in a rugged, single VPX slot. The NVIDIA Turing GPU features 6 GB of GDDR6 memory to ensure high capacity and high bandwidth access to data in massively parallel GPGPU algorithm processing. Moreover, Using NVIDIA’s GPUDirect, data from external sources can be streamed directly into GPU memory without the burden of multiple copy operations through system memory, resulting in significantly lower latency and higher throughput. IPN254 features 64GB of DDR4 RAM with ECC, up to 256 GB of solid state storage and a wide selection of I/O among 1x GbE port, 3x COM port, 7x USB 3.1 Port, 3x DisplayPort 1.2 port, 10x Single ended GPIO, 3x GPIO LVDS and 2x SL-DVI. IPN254 allows to manage data sources trough PCI Express or the dual-channel 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet fat pipes. The 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet channels allow the construction of complex open architecture systems, using OFED-RDMA (OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution – Remote Direct Memory Access) to transfer data in and out of the 64GB system memory with very low latency and minimal CPU overhead. IPN254 is available in a range of air and conduction-cooled versions.
