XRS 3U-IP: IP54 Extreme Rugged Servers for Mission Critical Applications

Goma Elettronica SpA announces XRS 3U-IP, the new family of extreme rugged servers combining superior robustness with high-performance computing technology. Designed for applications that require a MIL-grade qualified equipment, they are suitable for operations in very critical environments. The XRS 3U-IP features powerful single or dual socket 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors, suitable for the most intense workloads and can support a generous number of PCIe 3.0 lanes. The integrated IPMI services support monitoring, control, and management functions sending alarm notifications in case of critical events. XRS 3U-IP Extreme Rugged Servers have an IP54 protection rate and a 3U milled aluminum chassis designed to provide enhanced strength. The unit has I/O and power input ports equipped with MIL grade connectors. XRS 3U-IP can host up to 6x full size PCIe boards including GPU, FPGA modules and any other powerful PCI Express board. The front panel host 1x VGA, 1x IPMI LAN, 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 and 1x removable battery holder, 2x 3.5” drive bays hosting up to 6x removable SSDs. XRS 3U-IP Extreme Rugged Servers are qualified to meet MIL-STD-810G for temperature, shock and vibration, and MIL-STD-461 for EMI/EMC.
