ROSCUBE-I: Embedded Real-Time Robotic Controller w/ Intel Core/Xeon Processor

Adlink Technology introduces ROSCUBE-I, the new family of Fanless Embedded PCs dedicated to the control of robotic devices. It supports real-time applications featuring 9th generation Intel Core processors based on a Coffee Lake Refresh architecture. The ROSCUBE-I embedded controller can be equipped with an up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and offers a wide selection of I/O including 4x GbE, 2x COM, 6x USB 3.1 Gen1, 4x USB 2.0, 2x I2C, 16x DI/O, and optionally 2x CanBUS supporting Real-Time requirements. Data storage is provided by a high-performance SSD in M.2 B+M-Key design with a maximum capacity of 256GB. The ROSCUBE-I embedded controller also offers the possibility to optionally integrate up to two PCIe 3.0 expansion cards exploiting respectively a 16x lanes connection and a 4x lanes connection. Thus, it ensures great flexibility of use and allows for a further expansion of the wide range of system I/O. ROSCUBE-I is already preconfigured to operate with the operating systems Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS, ROS and ROS2, freely selectable via a prompt at the starting up of the machine and supported by the Neuron SDK provided with the system in order to speed up and simplify all software prototyping activities. The ROSCUBE-I embedded controller offers extended operating temperatures -20°C to +70°C, IEC and MIL certifications for shock and vibration.
