DEX-100: Edge IoT data mining system with integrated frame grabber

Adlink Technologies introduces DEX-100, the Edge IoT data extraction system with integrated frame grabber that exploits optical character recognition (OCR) to collect and process the data typically displayed on the screen of legacy machines, converging the extracted data into a unified system applicable to all types of PC-based machines. An easy-to-configure virtual mapping system captures video content in real time without the requirement for additional programming, and provides a user interface that combines all the valuable data into a single, easy-to-read page. The collected data is optimized for sharing and distribution to any point in the network by leveraging the Vortex Data River architecture, thus improving reliability and efficiency. DEX-100 is equipped with a quad core Atom E3950 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of SSD storage, while also offering a rich set of I/O, including two RJ45 ports, two COM ports, four USB ports, and two DI/O. The DEX-100 is integrated in a rugged metal chassis with a small footprint of only 140 x 110 x 80mm, features an extended operating temperature range of 0 to 50°C, and is powered by an extended voltage range of 12-36Vdc.
